It started back in 2008.

Gwen wanted to make soap, both as a hobby and as a solution to her daughters' problems with chemicals in their

personal care products. She used plant based food-grade ingredients-ingredients that you might cook with or eat.

​

The results turned out to be surprising-reports from friends and family of younger looking skin, quick healing skin traumas, and even alleviation from skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.  Once the soap was perfected, then the Body Glo Lotion was created-a total natural body moisturizer.  Made from grapeseed oil, coconut oil, Aloe vera gel and shea butter, the Body Glo Lotion  Gwen could not stop there.  Once she started making her own natural bath and body products, she wanted Gwen's Blends to be a one stop shop for all your (natural) daily bath and beauty need.  She created a line of beeswax candles scented with essential oil, hair blends and skin blends.

Health has influenced not only the products that she makes, but the types of ingredients that she includes.  Just like a cook, Gwen adds ingredients for its natural health benefits,  Coming soon, natural deodorant and lip balm.
